HAIR STYLING - Jennifer Aniston's Hairstylist Shares His Five (5) Favorite Hairbrushes | Where It Can Possibly Be Bought [PHOTOS]

If you’re styling your hair and for some reason it’s just...meh, pause and look at what you’re holding. More often than you’d think, the brush can make all the difference.
Yes, of course, a great blow-dryer and the optimal styling lotion are important, too, but the right brush has the power to kick up the shine, smoothness, and awesomeness of your hair. And that, as everyone knows, is the opposite of meh.

Denman Paddle Brush
It’s plastic. The small version costs less than $20. And it’s the only brush I’ll use when I want the hair to be silky—like, Vidal Sassoon silky. (Kids: Vidal Sassoon was an iconic hairstylist in the ’60s and ’70s.)
COST - Denman Paddle Brush, $28 (ulta.com).

 Ibiza Hair #B5
This is the perfect size for a round brush: big so you can get volume, not so big that you can’t make waves. Best blowout evah.
COST - Ibiza Hair #B5, $51 (store.ibizahair.com).
 Mason Pearson Junior Hair Brush
A true, proven classic that can smooth anything. I use it mainly to brush out curls or hot roller sets. I can’t live without it (ditto Elnett).
COST - Mason Pearson Junior Brush, $170 (amazon.com).
 S Heart S Scalp Brush
This is a Japanese brush for stimulating the scalp—it feels like a head massage—but I use it for every kind of style. The bummer is that everyone keeps stealing it from me.
COST - S Heart S Scalp Brush, $72 (s-heart-s.com).

Sheila Stotts Removal Brush
Ideal for detangling extensions—the bristles magically don’t snag at all.
COST - Sheila Stotts Removal Brush, $28 (sheilastotts.com).
